Accounting majors may choose as their academic track either financial accounting, where they will learn how to develop, maintain, and use information systems to track financial performance; or taxation, where they will learn tax strategy and how to interpret complex tax laws. In addition, an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) certification program is offered for qualified students to prepare them for the CPA and other certification exams. Our distinguished faculty employ innovative and effective instructional methods using the latest technology. We also conduct workshops and host regional, national, and international conferences. Our master's degree in accounting will furnish students with knowledge beyond a bachelor's degree by providing in-depth study of advanced accounting topics and techniques, further development of student communication and interpersonal skills, and expansion of student' critical-thinking and research skills. Our department assists students in preparing for graduate school entrance exams and the challenges of a higher education .
